| Lorette Lambert – Humanities (6th – 8th) |
Gina Yarber – Science and Math Middle School (6th – 8th)
I have had the privilege of teaching at Prince of Peace Lutheran School for 8 years. The University of New Mexico is where is received my BA and I am currently working on my Masters of Science Teaching at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. My goals as a teacher are to get kids excited about learning, build basic skills, expand thinking processes, and to help them grow in their faith. We do this through inquiry and discovery learning, drill & practice, Socratic discussion, and other methods.
I have three wonderful daughters and two precocious grandchildren. My husband Scott and I enjoy working on our home and yard, traveling, camping, hosting weekend Barbeques and the occasional Friday night outing. My favorite sport to watch is playground football. I love to hike, ski and explore. Teaching at Prince of Peace is such an amazing job because we have small class sizes, caring parents, a supportive staff and wonderful students. However, the best thing is that we can teach about the amazing love that Jesus has for each one of us. Please, come and visit our classroom any time. gyarber@poplchurch.com
