School History
Prince of Peace Lutheran School was founded in 1994 as a mission outreach of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. The school began with only Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten classes and they were conducted in the church building. In the 1996/97 school year, Kindergarten was added and was held in the church also.
Construction of the main school building started in 1998. The school moved into the new building in the spring of 1999.
In the 1999/2000 school year, the school increased to 3rd and 4th grade. The 5th grade was added in 2000/01 and the 6th and 7th grades were added in the 2001/02 school year. The 8th grade was added in 2002. Construction of the upper grade’s building began in the fall of 2002 and was completed in the summer of 2003.
